I crossed over 18,000 words on the new book a few minutes ago.  I'm still woefully behind the NaNo curve, but as acdntlpoet told me to do, I'm just "powering through it."  I did hit that stage at one point tonight where I was writing a scene that I didn't really feel invested in, and started asking myself why I was writing something that really didn't matter ( Read more... )

Reports are getting to me from friends that they are recieving their copies of The Firflake, which is good.  It's nice to know that if you're ordering the book through Amazon, it's getting to you within a week.  Now if the actual publisher could manage to get me even ONE of my copies, that'd be great.  *grin*
